Michell M. Feanny joined the Firm as an associate in
February of 2001. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in
2000 and has been a member in good standing ever since.
Michell concentrates her practice in the areas of public
finance, local government law, corporate and commercial
transactions, as well as commercial and residential
leasing. Michell also
represents clients in the negotiation and drafting of
professional service agreements; commercial and
residential lease agreements; asset purchase agreements,
shareholder agreements and employment agreements among
others. Michell’s corporate practice consists of
representing clients in the formation of corporations
and limited liability companies and providing them with
general legal services.
Michell serves as co-bond counsel in government
financings, including the review and preparation of
certificates, agreements, offering documents opinions
and other applicable transaction documents and the
preparation of post-closing transcripts. Michell has
worked on bond transactions for Miami-Dade County,
Miami-Dade Expressway Authority, Florida Housing Finance
Corporation and The Housing Finance Authority of Palm
Beach County, Florida.
Michell received her Bachelors Degree in History from
Florida International University in 1996 and her Juris
Doctorate Degree from the University of Miami School of
Law in 2000.
